Welcome

The Society for Ethnomusicology, Southern California and Hawai'i Chapter (SEMSCHC) is a regional chapter of The Society for Ethnomusicology (SEM). The Southern California chapter held its first meeting in 1960 and was expanded to include the state of Hawai'i in 2009. We include any members of the Society of Ethnomusicology living in Hawai'i or Southern California from San Luis Obispo to San Diego.
